RESEARCH

Throughout my work, I have been interested in how science and expertise shape and are shaped by the governance of security, how science becomes subject to political and legal governance, and how past orderings of knowledge continue to influence our societies through the workings of typically overlooked entities and practices. Theoretically, my work is situated in the field of International Relations, while drawing also on political sociology, science and technology studies, and anthropology. Empirically, I specialise in global health and biological security.
